Marijuana is all the rage these days. With prohibition ending, and shops bringing industry and jobs to the front range of Colorado, it’s a big deal.
This might be unpopular, but, I’m over it. I’ve seen people smoke all day everyday and people close to me make weed and dabs their number one priority.
I know drugs affect everyone differently. Personally, I wanted something that doesn’t slow me down, doesn’t make me consistently lose my keys, and brings out the best in me.
Herbs have been used for centuries for various medicinal benefits. From teas to tinctures, they come in all shapes and sizes. Anti-inflammatory, nervine (calms the nervous system), anti-histamine, helps with sleep, mood, pain relief and energy… All the things you can imagine.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it; Smoking Herbs for Herbal Actions
If you go to your local apothecary, ask them what options they have for smoking herbs. You’ll hear things like sage, skullcap, mullein, damiana, nettles…
Here are my top herbs right now:
- Damiana. Known for its effect on sexual desire. It’s like a calm, horny feeling.
- Skullcap. A nervine to keep you relaxed and chill.
- Mugwort. It’s associated with lucid dreams.
- Mullein. Clears your lungs and soothes your respiratory tract. Also a diuretic for cleansing.
